About this assessment

GotSmarty is an entertainment-oriented reasoning assessment. It is not an IQ test, has not been clinically validated, and is not a medical, psychological or diagnostic tool.

How scoring works

The complete assessment has 40 multiple-choice questions across six areas: pattern recognition, logical reasoning, numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, spatial reasoning and working memory. Harder questions count for more. Each area gets a score from 0 to 100, which is the difficulty-weighted share of questions you answered correctly in that area.

Your Smarty Score runs from 200 to 1000 and is the same weighted share across all 40 questions, rescaled. Performance labels such as “Strong” describe how you did on this assessment. They do not compare you with other people.

Comparisons with others

We do not show percentiles yet. We will only show comparisons once enough people have taken the assessment to calculate them from real results, and we will say who the comparison group is.
