Accessibility Statement

Charlie Labs, Inc. wants GotSmarty to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

• Every screen works with a keyboard and with screen readers such as VoiceOver and TalkBack.
• New questions, progress and results are announced to screen readers.
• Text and controls meet WCAG AA color-contrast requirements in light and dark mode.
• Pages can be zoomed to 200% and support your device’s text-size and reduced-motion settings.
• Buttons and answer choices have large touch targets.
• We test with automated tools and by hand before releases.

Known limitations

• Spatial reasoning questions ask you to compare shapes visually. The shapes have text descriptions, but the questions themselves depend on seeing them, so they may not be answerable with a screen reader. You can skip them; skipped questions count as incorrect.
• Working-memory questions show items for a few seconds before the question. The time limit is part of what the question measures, so it can’t be extended within the assessment.
